Soma Allpass is a classically trained cellist whose impressive journey in music and art has led her through classical music, indie rock, pop, folk, classical Indian music, modern jazz, Gagaku and free improvisation. In the 90s, she was part of the indie rock band Trains and Boats and Planes. She has released three solo albums and three cello duo albums. The upcoming release will be with her her new songs in the band Soma and the loved ones.

Soma also plays solo cello Bach suites in concerts every spring, and In April, she will record the 5th Bach suite.
